Japan Icons with Sapporo & Fukuoka

Arrive at Narita

Welcome to Japan. Upon arrival, welcome by the Tour Manager/ local tour guide and transfer from the airport to the hotel for check in. (Standard check in time 1400-1500 hrs).

Visit Tokyo Skytree Observatory (350 m) – Visit Asakusa Kannon Temple & Nakamise Dori Street – Photo stop at Shibuya Crossing.

After breakfast, we proceed for Tokyo sightseeing, where we’ll begin by visiting the Tokyo Skytree observation deck for city views. Next, explore Asakusa Kannon, one of Tokyo’s most vibrant and renowned temples, and stroll along Nakamise Dori Street, one of Japan’s oldest shopping streets. Later, we take a photo stop at Shibuya, where you’ll experience the famous Shibuya Crossing, known as the busiest pedestrian crossing in Tokyo.

Owakudani Ropeway – Visit Owakudani Valley – Lake Ashi Cruise – Visit Mt. Fuji 5th Station

After breakfast, we will head to Owakudani and take the Owakudani Ropeway to explore Owakudani Valley. Enjoy a scenic cruise on Lake Ashi, taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Lake Ashinoko. Later, visit the Mt. Fuji 5th Station, where you can witness Japan’s highest peak and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Internal Flight (Tokyo – Chitose) – Visit Shiroi Koibito Park

After breakfast, we take an internal flight from Tokyo to Chitose. Upon arrival, we visit the Shiroi Koibito Park which is a famous chocolate factory located in Sapporo where British and Hokkaido cultures merge.

Visit Furano Farm Tomita – Visit Shikisai-no-oka – Visit Shirogane Blue Pond

After breakfast, we proceed to Farm Tomita which is tourist farm featuring expansive fields with lavender and other flowers. We then visit Shikisai-no-oka, a popular spot in Biei which is a flower garden hill, carpeted with flowers in Biei. Later, we visit Shirogane Blue Pond which is a man-made pond feature in Biei.

Visit Hill of the Buddha – Visit Sapporo Beer Museum – Visit Sapporo Clock Tower – Visit Sapporo TV Tower – Visit Odori Park

Today, we proceed for Sapporo sightseeing where we visit the Hill of the Buddha, a photogenic Buddha statue in a hall exudes spirituality. Next, we visit Sapporo Beer Museum which introduces the history of beer in Japan and the process of beer making. We then visit the Sapporo Clock Tower which is the oldest clock tower in Japan and Sapporo TV Tower. In the evening, visit Odori Park which is notable for its beautiful array of flower gardens.

Internal Flight (Chitose – Fukuoka) – Visit Team Labs Forest

After breakfast, we take an internal flight from Chitose to Fukouka. Upon arrival in Fukuoka, we proceed to visit Team Labs Forest, a new kind of museum created by art collective teamLab.

Tour of Beppu “Jigoku Meguri” Hells – Visit Nanzoin Sleeping Buddha

After breakfast, we proceed to the Jigoku Meguri (Hell Tour) where there are various hot springs known as hells that gush out fumes, mud, steaming hot water from underground and witness several hells. Later, we visit Nanzoin Sleeping Buddha, notable for its bronze statue of a reclining Buddha, said to be the largest bronze statue in the world.

Day Trip to Hiroshima (Bullet Train Experience – Visit Miyajima Island – Visit Itsukushima Shrine – Photo stop at the Floating Tori Gate – Photo stop at Atomic Dome – Visit Peace Memorial Park and Museum)

Today, we proceed on a day trip to Hiroshima with a bullet train ride. Upon arrival, head to the pier to catch a ferry to Miyajima Island, where you will visit the historic Itsukushima Shrine, renowned for its iconic “Floating Torii Gate.” Next, explore the Hiroshima Peace Park, Museum, and the Atomic Bomb Dome (Genbaku Dome), a UNESCO World Heritage site within the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. After a poignant visit, proceed to Osaka via bullet train.

Photo stop at Osaka Castle – Visit Nara Deer Park – Visit Todaiji Temple – Free Time at Shinsaibashi street

After breakfast, we proceed for a photo stop at the Osaka Castle – one of the most famous landmarks in Japan. Next, we visit Nara Deer Park, where you can interact with hundreds of freely roaming deer, often regarded as “Messengers of God,” and explore Todaiji Temple, renowned for its Daibutsuden (Big Buddha Hall), which was once the world’s largest wooden building. In the evening, we visit Shinsaibashi – one of the most famous shopping streets in Osaka and Japan.

Visit Kinkakuji Temple – Visit Arashiyama Bamboo Forest – Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine

After breakfast, we visit Kinkaku-ji Temple, also known as the “Temple of the Golden Pavilion,” where you can admire the stunning pagoda designed to house sacred Buddha relics. We then visit Arashiyama Bamboo Forest, where you take a serene walk through the forest and wander amidst an endless stretch of towering bamboo stalks. Conclude the day with a visit to Fushimi Inari Shrine famous for its thousands of vermilions torii gates.

Today, we check out and proceed to the airport for your flight back home. It’s time to say goodbye to all the new friends you have made. We hope you take back many happy memories of your holiday.
