Building Tourism Bridges: Bahwan Travel Agencies and the Embassy of Uzbekistan

Bahwan Travel Agencies (BTA) and the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Sultanate of Oman recently held a high level meeting at the Uzbekistan Embassy in Muscat to explore new avenues of partnership and collaboration.

His Excellency Mr. Abdusalom Khatamov, Ambassador of Uzbekistan, and Mr. Biju Antony, General Manager of Bahwan Travel Group, led the discussions, supported by their respective teams. The dialogue focused on strengthening tourism flows between Oman and Uzbekistan, with particular emphasis on promoting outbound travel from Oman to Uzbekistan and inbound travel from Uzbekistan to Oman.

Both parties identified a range of potential synergies and agreed on concrete action points to advance cooperation. The meeting underscored a shared vision of enhancing cultural exchange, expanding tourism opportunities, and fostering closer ties between the two nations.
